Sunflowers symbolise unwavering faith and unconditional love. They also radiate joy with their bright yellow petals. Through the sunflowers in Daniel’s painting, he hopes that they can bring joy and cheer those who are struggling on.

In 1982, Daniel suffered a spinal cord trauma resulting in tetraplegia. He started mouth painting in 2009 as he wanted to create something of artistic value. Being an autodidact, he pursued this goal with persistence and has been making progress, as shown by his colourful artworks.
