Sabrina painted a rabbit because it is the year of rabbits, and rabbits symbolize fertility and prosperity. It also symbolized spring and renewal. For Sabrina, it represents a new beginning in her relationships with other people after she better able to manage my emotions and relate better. She has overcome post-traumatic stress disorder, letting go of her past bad experiences and memories, on top of seeing the good in everybody, to forgive, forget and achieve inner peace.
