“Nymphéas” is an ode to Monet’s Water Lilies, a series of 250 paintings by the master and his most celebrated creations. Artist Chunru created the signature turquoise and green background for this piece while artists Thye Ann and Ryan Lim patiently painted the flower cutouts using everyday items such as egg cartons. Artists Wanyi, Nina, Jaspreet, June, and Manpreet assisted in creating a ‘3D effect’ by superimposing the flowers upon canvas.
