Kok Tuck Chong is a quadriplegic; a form of paralysis of all 4 limbs. He got his injury in 1990 when he fell off the escalator which left him confined to the wheelchair permanently. Even though he could use his shoulders, arms and wrists, he had very limited control over his fingers. He has always enjoyed painting but it was difficult with the brushes held in his mouth. However, he overcame his difficulties with perseverance and determination, and is now able to paint.
