Compared to “Plum Flowers”, Daniel uses darker colours in this piece. Having more blooms and vibrant colours in this piece, it is almost as it the plum flowers have grown, now containing memories and experiences.

In 1982, Daniel suffered a spinal cord trauma resulting in tetraplegia. He started mouth painting in 2009 as he wanted to create something of artistic value. Being an autodidact, he pursued this goal with persistence and has been making progress, as shown by his colourful artworks.
