Daniel painted the iconic shophouses that lines the streets of Chinatown in this piece. The buildings evoke a sense of nostalgia, and reminds us of the younger days.

In 1982, Daniel suffered a spinal cord trauma resulting in tetraplegia. He started mouth painting in 2009 as he wanted to create something of artistic value. Being an autodidact, he pursued this goal with persistence and has been making progress, as shown by his colourful artworks.
