Laura and Ben Yao made use of acrylics to create this piece to show their love and appreciation for the army that is the national line of defence that keeps Singapore safe from all harm. They have chosen to feature the army tank in this painting.

Laura (38) has Down Syndrome and attends the Adult Education Programme at Down Syndrome Association. She loves dressing up and putting on make up for her dance performances, eagerly anticipating her weekly dance and art classes.

Ben Yao has Down Syndrome and is a patient man who is turning 39 soon. He travels independently to the Down Syndrome Association daily. Ben loves to dance and draw and enjoys movies about the Avengers.
